Cynthia Van Brunt

July 8, 1971 - November 19, 2022

Cindi Van Brunt, our CASA of Monmouth County Founder and Executive Director passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 19th, 2022. She fought a long and courageous six-year battle with Ovarian cancer, always with optimism and a smile on her face. Cindi started our Monmouth County program in 2004. She put her heart and soul into ensuring the abused and neglected children in the foster care system had an advocate and a voice. Cindi was the most sincere, genuine, lovable person with a heart of gold. She was an amazing wife, mother, leader, boss, friend, and mentor. Cindi certainly made the world a better place. We will all deeply miss her vibrant smile and the light that she brought into our lives. We have big shoes to try and fill but we will do all that we can to make Cindi proud and continue her CASA legacy.
