I find it so rewarding to witness the positive benefits that the program provides and to see our team and volunteers in action, helping advocate for children in need from Monmouth County.  It is not easy, these kids often have a skeptical view of adults based on their experiences. Often times, they haven’t had any trustworthy relationships and have been bounced around from placement to placement.  Being able to meet and train dedicated new Advocates that will build relationships with the kids and ultimately help them overcome obstacles is a gift.  At the end of the day you can go to sleep at night knowing that there are children out there with a brighter future because they had a CASA.  To sum it all up in a sentence, I really believe CASA is being part of something bigger than yourself.
